Several Common Labeling Methods Of Labeling Machine

May 10, 2019

With the development of industrial automation, manual labeling is time-consuming, laborious and ineffective, which has been solved by automatic labeling machine. There are many kinds of automatic labeling machines in the market nowadays, but in summary, there are three main labeling methods of labeling machines: pasting   method, blowing method and absorbing method.

                                              pasting method

Working Principle: When labeling, when the front part of the label is attached to the package, the product immediately takes the label away. In this kind of labeling machine, this method can be successful only when the speed of package passing is consistent with the speed of label distribution. This is a technology that needs to maintain continuous operation, so its labeling efficiency has been greatly improved. It is mostly suitable for high-speed and efficient automated pharmaceutical packaging production line. When the front part of the label of the labeling machine is pasted onto the product, the product immediately takes the label away

                                              absorbing method

When the label paper of the labeling machine leaves the conveyor belt, it is sucked onto the vacuum pad, which is connected to the end of a mechanical device. When the mechanical device extends to the label and contacts the product, it shrinks back, and the label is attached to the product. The advantages of this method are high precision and suitable for labeling process of highly difficult packaging products. The disadvantages of this method are slow labeling speed and poor labeling quality.

                                            blowing method

The difference is that the surface of the vacuum pad remains fixed, and the label is fixed and positioned on a "vacuum grid" which is a plane covered with hundreds of holes. Holes are used to maintain the formation of "air jets". These "air jets" blow out a stream of compressed air. The pressure is very strong, so that the label on the vacuum grate is moved and attached to the product. The advantage of this method is high accuracy and reliability, while the disadvantage is that the process is complex and the cost is high.
