Common faults and solutions of labeling machines

Automatic labeling equipment has been widely used in many intelligent manufacturing factories. With long-term use, there will be certain mechanical wear and tear, and some large and small problems and failures may occur during the period. Labeling machines include semi-automatic or fully automatic, which are more and more commonly used. According to the shape of the products, they are divided into flat labeling machines, round bottle labeling machines, or collectively called self-adhesive labeling machines. Problem 1. The bottom paper is broken

Phenomenon: The label backing paper is broken during the labeling process

Reason: There are three key factors, namely liner quality, traction scratches, and label sticking.

Solution:

1.1 Check whether the backing paper is damaged, require the label supplier to control the depth of die cutting, not cut the backing paper, and use glassine backing paper.

1.2 Check the label travel process for scratches, and adjust the mechanism if any.

1.3 When checking the labeling, do not stick to the labelled product, and control the length of the labeling if necessary.


Problem 2. Marking deviation

Phenomenon: The labeling accuracy becomes worse and exceeds the requirements

Reason: The labeling accuracy is related to the label accuracy, the deviation of the label, the direction of the label, the parallelism of the product conveying, the slippage of the traction wheel, the inaccurate detection of the product positioning, and the label is not attached to the product along the labeling roller, etc. Factors.

Solution:

2.1 If the label belt goes off-track, loosen the traction mechanism, and pull the label back and forth to make it go straight automatically. After the label is aligned, clamp the limit rings on both sides to guide the label.

2.2 The direction of the labeling tape is not parallel to the conveying direction of the product, which can be achieved by adjusting the inclination of the labeling head.

2.3 The traction wheel is slipping, the traction wheel is worn, and the traction wheel locking screw is loose. Both reasons can be tightened.

2.4 Product error, during the product production process, the edge dimensional stability will cause labeling deviation, and control the product quality.


Problem 3. Continuous bidding

Phenomenon: Two or more labels appear in a row

Reason: The sensitivity of electric eye detection is disordered

Solution:

3.1 Just adjust the sensitivity, please refer to the product manual of Longhai Huanyu for the adjustment method.

3.2 If the sensitivity adjustment still does not work, please replace it with the manufacturer.

3.3 Check whether the tape is deviated, and adjust the electric eye back and forth to the detection position.


Problem 4. The bottom paper is loose at the peeling board

Phenomenon: The backing paper is not tensioned enough when the label is peeled off

Reason: The normal strength of the traction is not enough

Solution:

4.1 Check whether the traction speed is too low, if so, increase the traction speed to solve the problem.

4.2 Check whether the traction mechanism slips, and if so, tighten the locking screw of the traction roller.

4.3 Check whether the transmission belt behind the receiving shaft is broken, if so, replace it.
